A professional lecture given by professor Dina Mehmedbegović within the framework of the project implementation

From 6th to 7th July 2016, professor Dina Mehmedbegović gave expert lectures at the University of Zadar. The lectures were organized in thematic cycles lasting two hours respectively.

Thematic units presented during the lecture from 6th July, 2016:

1. Leadership challenges in urban settings (L1)
2. Developing inclusive practices (L2).

In total, 25 participants attended the above-mentioned lectures.

Thematic units presented during the lecture from 7th July, 2016:

1. Developing school policies in partnership with stakeholders (L3)
2. Action research as professional development (L4).

In total, 25 participants attended the above-mentioned lectures.

The lectures addressed the role and the position of principals of educational institutions in Great Britain. The participants actively engaged in the dialog and the group discussion on the position of principals in educational institutions, focusing on the key elements of a successful educational institution leadership as well as on the possible obstacles that principals are faced with in their work. The group discussion finished offering very positive atmosphere and suggestions for a further collaboration of the participants.
